Speaker assembly

Speaker assembly (includes cable) 730798-001
Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps:
1. Turn o the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 47), and then remove the following components:
a. Service door (see Service door on page 45)
b. Battery (see Battery on page 47)
c. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 48)
d. WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 52)
e. WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 54)
f. Fan (see Fan on page 71)
g. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 56)
h. Base enclosure (see Internal base enclosure on page 65)
i. System board (see System board on page 82)
Remove the speaker assembly:
1. Position the top cover upside down.
2. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure the speaker assembly to the base enclosure.
