10. Insert the tabs on the expansion slot cover into the recesses in
the expansion slot 1.
11. Replace the expansion slot cover over the expansion module
compartment.
12. Replace the expansion slot cover screw 2.
13. Replace the battery packs.
14. Reconnect AC power and external devices.
15. Restart the notebook.
Upgrading the Memory Module in the Primary
Memory Slot
To upgrade the memory module in the primary memory slot:
1. Shut down the notebook. (If you are not sure whether the
notebook is off or in Hibernation, turn the notebook on by
pressing the power button. Then shut down the notebook
through the operating system.)
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the notebook.
