Using Shooting Functions
Shooting Image
Taking Photos
Turn on the camera by pressing the 1.
button.
Frame the shot using the focus bracket on the 2.
LCD monitor. See Image 1.
Press the shutter button half-way down. The 3.
camera automatically adjusts the focus and
exposure. When the camera is ready to take
the photo, the frame bracket turns green, the
shutter speed and aperture value are displayed
See Image 2.
Fully press the 4.
button to capture image.
Note
When the shake warning icon appears, hold the
camera steadily.

Using the Stabilizer
The Stabilizer function helps reduce blurred images caused by shaking.
Enable the Stabilizer in the Setup Menu as described on page 32.1.
Use the 2.
or keys to go through the selection.
Press the 3.
button to save and apply changes.
Note
If Stabilizer is enabled, the stabilizer icon is displayed on the LCD monitor and the ISO •
setting is automatically set to Auto.
