Using Intelligent Scene Mode -
With the Intelligent Scene Mode, the camera automatically detects the shooting conditions
and switches to the appropriate scene and settings when aiming on a subject. This feature is
most useful for novice users; capturing great images even with basic photography skills.

Intelligent scene icon. After the camera detects the
shooting conditions, this icon changes to show the
detected scene mode.
Face tracking is
automatically enabled.
To activate Intelligent Scene
Select 1. from the Scene Mode submenu.
Focus the camera on the subject to capture.2.
The camera detects the shooting conditions and 3.
switches to an appropriate scene mode.
Press the shutter button half-way down to focus 4.
the subject. The frame turns green to indicate
focus is set.
Press the shutter button to take the shot.5.
The camera displays a solid white
frame when a face is detected.

When Intelligent Scene function is enabled, icons will be displayed even in Guideline, None
Display modes and when press the shutter button half-way down.
