1. Check that the line thickness and color settings are correct in your application.
2. Check that you are using appropriate print quality settings. See “How do I choose
print quality settings?” on page 68.
3. If the problem persists, clean the printheads. See “How do I recover (clean) the
printheads?” on page 51.
4. Consider changing to a heavier paper type: we recommend HP Heavyweight
Coated Paper or HP Productivity Photo Gloss when printing dense colors.
5. If the problem persists, use the Image Diagnostics Print to find out more about it.
