First recommendations: • See the Media type functionality & features and choose the most appropriate media. • It is essential you have the media type correctly calibrated with the printer, consult the Calibrate my printer document. • In order to get a correct display, it’s also essential you have the monitor calibrated, consult the Profile my monitor document. 2. Open the EFI Designer Edition RIP. 3.

• Select OK. 4. Select the Add button, browse to your file and select Open or drag and drop the file to the spool panel. 5. Check the print layout before printing, select the file and select the Preview button. If you need to retouch any settings, you can do it in the Individual Job Settings (View menu > Job Info). 6. Check whether the RIP recognizes the spot colors in your job. Select the Spot Colors button in the Individual Job Settings under Info tab.
