HP ProtectTools 的嵌入式安全性 (Embedded Security for HP ProtectTools) 可防止他人未獲授權地存
取使用者資料或認證。這個軟體模組提供下列安全性功能：

TPM 嵌入式安全晶片可增強並啟用 HP ProtectTools 安全管理員 HP ProtectTools Security Manager)
的其他安全性功能。例如，HP ProtectTools 的認證管理員 (Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools)
可使用嵌入式晶片，做為使用者登入 Windows 時的驗證因素。在特定的機型上，TPM 嵌入式安全晶片
也可透過 HP ProtectTools 的 BIOS 組態 (BIOS Configuration for HP ProtectTools)，來存取增強的
BIOS 安全性功能。
