HP EveryPage Ultrasonic (Windows)
Your HP scanning solution can detect when multiple pages feed through the scanner at the same
time using HP EveryPage Ultrasonic. With this technology, you can also recover from multi-feed
errors without losing the pages that you have already scanned.
When a multi-feed occurs, the software displays a message and a thumbnail of the last successfully-
scanned page. Select an option from the message to resolve the issue, reseat the remaining pages in
the stack, and then continue the scan.
The HP Easy Scan software contains several options to control how HP EveryPage Ultrasonic works.
For example, you can exclude a certain region of the page from multi-feed detection, which might be
helpful if your documents contain sticky notes. To view or change these options, open HP Easy Scan
and go to the Hardware Options tab of the Scan Settings tab.
