FAST, EFFICIENT DOCUMENT SCANNING (continued) Quickly complete common scanning tasks The HP Scanjet N9120 has two Quick Start buttons on the front control panel which allow for quick scanning startup. The Scan button launches the HP Smart Document Scan Software where you can select a profile to scan from, or start a scan using the HP Smart Document Scan Software profile assigned to the button.

VERSATILE DOCUMENT HANDLING Reliably scan a variety of paper sizes The HP Scanjet N9120 accommodates a variety of hard-copy documents, from A6 to A3-sized media, including index cards, questionnaire forms, surveys, medical records, mortgage documents, ledgers, magazines and more. The scanner captures A3-sized documents through the ADF or the flatbed scan surface. The automatic document feeder accepts varying paper sizes from 70 – 300 mm wide and 148 – 864 mm long.
EASY INTEGRATION Designed for productivity and efficiency, the suite of software included with the HP Scanjet N9120 offers everything you need to set up a standalone document management system or integrate the scanner into an existing system - right out of the box. To view all settings in a profile, click Edit, and then browse the tabs in the Profile Settings dialogue box. Setting up a profile: To create a new scan profile, click the New button in the Main Window or select New in the Profiles menu and type a descriptive profile name.

Before you begin Obtain one or more single-sided and two-sided documents containing text and graphics (business graphs or charts) in A4 and A3 sizes, or bound documents such as stapled reports.

NOTE: If you change the name of a profile that is assigned to a Quick Start button, you must reassign the profile to the button in the HP Scanner Tools Utility.

Open the HP Smart Document Scan Software. Select a scan profile, and then click Edit. On the Scan tab of the Profile Settings dialogue box, click Advanced Settings. On the Imprinter tab of the Properties dialogue box, select Enable Imprinting.
