Auto
The simplest way to shoot basic images. Settings are adjusted
automatically. This mode is recommended for beginners.
Program
The camera automatically adjusts suitable shooting settings like shutter
speed and aperture values. However, this mode allows for manual
changes in EV, Auto White Balance, ISO (gain), Metering, and Color.
Aperture Priority
This mode allows manual adjustment to the aperture value. The camera
automatically selects the shutter speed to match the brightness. See
Page 41 for details.
Shutter Priority
This mode allows manual adjustment to the shutter speed. The camera
automatically selects the aperture value to match the brightness. See
Page 41 for details.
Manual Exposure
This mode allows manual adjustment to the shutter speed and aperture
value regardless of brightness. This is recommended for experienced
users only. See Page 42 for details.
Intelligent Scene
The camera detects the shooting conditions and automatically selects
from eight scene modes that match. See pages 38 thru 39 for additional
details.
