The follow
ing
explains ea ch of the fi elds:
• Host Name The iSCSI name of the Initiator associated with the following table of VLS devices.
• Device Name Displays either the default name assigned by the VLS or the new name assigned
by
you.
• Device ID This entry is automatically designated by the VLS.
• Device Status Indicates whether the device is operating normally or not. The status indicators
are expl
ained in Table 3.
• Device Type Indicates whether the device is exported as a standalone drive, a library, or as
a
librar y tape drive.
• Size (GB
)
Indicates the amount of space allocated to the device.
Understanding the View/Edit Virtual Library page
The Library Summar y page displays high-level information about your virtual libraries (VL s) and provides
access to a ll pages associated with a VL. Before you create a VL, only the upper sections of the page
(Capacity Summary and Resources) are displayed. After y ou create a VL, the Current VLS Summary
section is added.
