Chassis cov ers
Two covers can be removed from the top of the VLS1000i:
• Rear top cover
• Front top cover
CAUTION:
Remove power to the server by disconnecting the power cord before removing or installing the chassis
top
covers.
Rear top cover
T o remove the rear top cover:
1. Remove the one screw securing the cover to the chassis (1).

2. Press the button on the cover (2) and slide the cover to the rear (3) .
To install the rear top cover:
1. Set the cover on the server and slide it towards the front.
