Reverse the steps to install a new HD D.

RAID controller card

CAUTION:

Remove powe

to the server by disconnecting the power cord before removing or installing a RAID

controller card and riser assembly.

To remove the R AID controller card:

1. On the R AID controller card, d isconnect the hard drive cables that connect to the SATA

backplane, and the p ower cable that connects to the system board.

2. Lift the riser card assembly out of the chassis. (The RAID controller card is connected to the

riser card assembly .)

3. Remove the screw securing the R A ID controller card to the riser c ard assembly and pull the

controller card from the riser card assembly PCI-X slot.
