Telnet Interface
Accessing the Telnet Interface
1. Launch the web browser.
2. Enter the switch name or IP address in the Location/Address field and press
Enter.
Example: http://switch name
Web Tools launches, displaying Fabric View.
3. Click the Telnet icon on the switch panel.
The Telnet Interface displays, as shown in Figure 4–76.

Using the Telnet Interface
Up to 14 Telnet sessions can be running simultaneously on a 4.0.x chassis:
• Four sessions for Root
• Four sessions for Factory
• Two sessions for Admin
• Four sessions for User
