Text API Commands for NAS
Data Path Manager
The text API commands documented here allow you to install NAS Data Path
Manager, enable and disable the software package, reactivate volume groups, and
restore data paths back to factory default settings. To perform other DPM
functions, use the graphical user interface.
installSystemPackage cdrom://hpNasOs-DataPathManager-1.0-0.i386.rpm
Installs Data Path Manager add-on software module from the specified URL.
installSystemPackage
cdrom://hpNasOs-DataPathManager-authorize-1.0-0.i386.rpm
Authorizes Data Path Manager add-on software.
getStorageDsdiScsiLunList
Returns a list of LUNs that are being used in volume groups.
■ outParam[0:N] = SCSI LUN name list
resetStorageDasdScsiLunCustomizedPaths
Restores the paths of the specified LUN back to factory default settings.
■ inParam[ ] = LUN name
reactivateStorageVolumegroup
On a dedicated attach system, puts any volume group changes into effect.
■ inParam[ ] = Volume group name
stopClusterPackage
On an HA system, use with startClusterPackage to put volume group
changes into effect.
