The information in the Compatible FlashCopy Information dialog box will be needed when you calculate
the
number of Version 2 relationships that can be established. The Compatible FlashCopy Information
dialog b
ox has the following features:
• Total relationships displays the number of relationships that are a lready established by Version 2
(on the left side of the slash ( / )), and the total number of relationships that can be established by
Versio
n 2 (on
the right side of the slash ( / )).
• Remaining relationship(s) displays the remaining number of relationships that can be established
by Version 2.
Note:
T
he
number displayed in Remaining relationship(s) is the number which can be calculated
by
subt
racting the total number of Version 2 relationships and XP Snapshot pairs that are already
estab
lished or
created from the total number of relationships that can be established.
• Totaldifferentialtables displays the number of differential tables that a re already used by Version
2
(on the left side of the slash ( / )), and the total num ber of differential tables in the storage
system (on the right side of the slash ( / )) .
• Rema
ining
differential table(s) displays the remaining number of differential tables in the storage
system.
Note:
In addition to Version 2, Business Copy, ShadowImage for Mainframe, XP Snapshot, and
Auto LUN use differential tables. Therefore, if Business Copy, ShadowImage for M ainframe, or XP
Snap
shot pairs exist, or migration plans are being executed by Auto LUN, you may be able to
est
ablish
fewer relationships than the total number of relationships.
• FCv2 Used volumes(TB) displays the license information for Version 2 in the format X(Y) . Xindicates
the
license capacity used by Version 2, and Y indicates the total license capacity reserved for
Ver
sion 2. Unlimited will be displayed when there is no limited license capacity for Version 2.
• Compatible FlashCopy V2 Relationships displays the information about the Version 2 relationships
in the volume list. You can select information displayed in this volume list by using the LDKC
dr
op-down list, CU drop-down list, and check boxes below.
•The LDKC drop-down list allows you to select the LDKC containing volumes that you want to
display in the CU drop-down list.
