Library Operation
RUN INVENTORY displays. • Power cycle the library by pressing the power switch off and
then on again.
• Run the INVENTORY CHECK test under the TEST* menu.
Cannot write to the tape. • Check the host file system access permissions.
• Check the write-protect tab on the cartridge to ensure
write-enabled status.
• Check the application software.
Cannot read the tape. • Check the host file system access permissions.
• Verify that the correct tape type is being used (See Setting a
Configuration Option” on page 4-27.)
• Check the application software.
