Verifying Storage Configuration from Host
This section briefly describes how to verify that multiple paths exist to virtual disk
units under Tru64 UNIX V5.1x.
After configuring units (virtual disks) through either the CLI or SWCC, access the
new storage by using one of the following methods:
Issuing the following command to rescan the bus:
# hwmgr -scan scsi
# dsfmgr -k
or
Restart the host
After the host restarts, verify that the disk is correctly presented to the host. The
command to use consists of the following syntax:
# hwmgr -view dev
The disk information returned is shown in the following table:
