The High-Speed Link (HSL) cable or Load Management Link (LML) cable
used with the QPC841 SDI and the QPC139 SDI link is part number
NT1R03Dx, where x can be B, D, F, L, T, V, depending on the length of the
cable. This cable connects the Meridian MAX to the Meridian 1 and can be
used as the High-Speed Link or Load Management Link. Refer to the
“Hardware installation: Intelligent Peripheral Equipment (IPE) module”
chapter, “Cables” section, to see the cabling arrangement for the
NT1R03Dx cable.
Note: The Configuration Control feature uses a Load Management
Link that is also referred to as a Configuration Control Link.
The NT8D41 Serial Data Interface (XSDI) operates as a DTE device. Set
the NT8D41’s “DTE/DCE mode selection” to “DCE mode (modem).”
Port 1 SW5 is set all to OFF.
Port 1 SW6: dipswitches 1, 3-6 are set to ON; dipswitch 2 is set to
OFF.
Port 2 SW7 is set all to OFF.
Port 2 SW8: dipswitches 1, 3-6 are set to ON; dipswitch 2 is set to
OFF.
The High-Speed Link (HSL) cable or Load Management Link (LML) cable
used with the NT8D41 SDI is part number NT8D93Ax , where x can be J
or W depending on the length of the cable. This cable connects the
Meridian MAX to the Meridian 1 and can be used as the High-Speed Link
or Load Management Link. Refer to the “Hardware installation:
Application Module (SNN/SNN-E)” chapter, “Cables” section, for the
cabling arrangement for the NT8D93Ax cable.
