4. Configure the HP 5900 switch as the Edge Switch on VCM.
# Click the Resource tab on the top navigation bar, and then select VAN Connection Manager >
Edge Switch from the left navigation tree.
# Click Add.

# On the page that appears, select Device View > Switches in the left navigation tree, select the
5900 switch (5900-2 in this example) in the Devices Found pane, and then click the Add icon .
The device label is user configurable on HP IMC. For more information, see the HP IMC online
help.

The 5900-2 switch is displayed in the Selected Devices area after it is added.
