for help and further instructions. Before you call, have the following information ready to help your
service provider assist you as quickly as possible:
Software version of the HP 5900v that you are using
VMware vSphere version, including ESXi version and vCenter Server version
Contact phone number
Brief description of the problem
Brief description of the operations you have performed to resolve the problem
Information gathered through the operations described in "Gathering information."

Gathering VCE information
1. Select Log Collection from the navigation tree on the global configuration page.
2. Select Collect System Logs or Collect Operation Logs.
3. Click Collect.

Log in to the ESXi host through SSH, and then execute the hvsw-support command to save the VFE
information to the specified file:
~ # hvsw-support
