High Performance Computing 10 Gigabit Ethernet Solutions An integral component of an HP 10 Gigabit Ethernet solution is the Voltaire 8500 switch. The Voltaire 8500 switch might have leaf boards, power supply units, fan modules, management modules, and other field swappable devices to use, manage, and service the switch. The HP 10 Gigabit Ethernet network also includes the HCAs (host channel adapters).

Voltaire Vantage 8500 Switch The Voltaire Vantage 8500 switch is a modular, high-performance, high density Layer-2 core switch, optimized for enterprise data center and cloud computing environments. The Voltaire Vantage 8500 is a non-blocking 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch with up to 288 ports.
