4. Enter the fax number using the touch keypad.
NOTE: To use access codes, credit cards, or calling cards, you must dial the fax number manually to allow
for pauses and dialing codes. To send a fax to an international destination, dial manually to allow for pauses
and international dialing codes. You cannot use speed dials with access codes, credit cards, calling cards, or
to dial international destinations.
5. Touch Send to send the fax.
NOTE: If you are faxing from the scanner glass and your document includes multiple pages, follow the
control panel prompts to conrm and load additional pages.
Fax from the atbed scanner
Fax a document using the scanner glass.
1. Place the document face-down on the scanner glass.
2. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe right and then touch the Fax icon.
3. Touch Send Now.
4. Enter the fax number using the touch keypad, and then touch Send.
Fax from the document feeder
Fax a document using the document feeder.
1. Insert the originals into the document feeder face-up.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the printer, do not use an original that contains correction tape,
correction uid, paper clips, or staples. Also, do not load photographs, small originals, or fragile originals
into the document feeder.
