The telephone company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations or procedures that could
aect the operation of the equipment. If this happens the telephone company will provide advance notice in
order for you to make necessary modications to maintain uninterrupted service.
If trouble is experienced with this equipment, please contact the manufacturer, or look elsewhere in this
manual, for repair or warranty information. If the equipment is causing harm to the telephone network, the
telephone company may request that you disconnect the equipment until the problem is resolved.
Connection to party line service is subject to state taris. Contact the state public utility commission, public
service commission or corporation commission for information.
OPREZ: If your home has specially wired alarm equipment connected to the telephone line, ensure the
installation of this equipment does not disable your alarm equipment. If you have questions about what will
disable alarm equipment, consult your telephone company or a qualied installer.
WHEN PROGRAMMING EMERGENCY NUMBERS AND(OR) MAKING TEST CALLS TO EMERGENCY NUMBERS:

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 makes it unlawful for any person to use a computer or other
electronic device, including FAX machines, to send any message unless such message clearly contains in a
margin at the top or bottom of each transmitted page or on the rst page of the transmission, the date and
time it is sent and an identication of the business or other entity, or other individual sending the message
and the telephone number of the sending machine or such business, other entity, or individual. (The
telephone number provided may not be a 900 number or any other number for which charges exceed local or
long-distance transmission charges.)
In order to program this information into your FAX machine, you should complete the steps described in the
software.

telekomunikacionu mrežu koji su propisani u odgovarajućim dokumentima Terminal Equipment Technical
Requirement. Odeljenje ne garantuje da će oprema u potpunosti ispuniti očekivanja korisnika. Pre instaliranja
opreme, korisnik treba da utvrdi da li je dozvoljeno da oprema bude povezana na postrojenja lokalne
telekomunikacione kompanije. Takođe, oprema mora biti instalirana korišćenjem prihvatljivih metoda
povezivanja. Korisnik treba da zna da uprkos pridržavanju navedenim uslovima u nekim prilikama možda neće
moći da spreči ukidanje usluge. Opravke sertikovane opreme treba da koordinira predstavnik koga je odredio
dobavljač. Sve opravke ili izmene koje unese korisnik ove opreme ili kvarovi opreme mogu dati povoda
telekomunikacionoj kompaniji da zahteva isključenje opreme iz mreže. Korisnici treba da utvrde, radi
sopstvene zaštite, ako postoje da li su zajedno povezani električne instalacije, telefonska linija i metalni
sistem vodovoda. Ova mera predostrožnosti naročito je važna za ruralne oblasti.
OPREZ: Korisnici ne smeju pokušavati da takvo povezivanje sami ostvare, već treba da se obrate
odgovornom inspektoru za električne instalacije ili električaru. Broj za oznaku zvonjenja (Ringer Equivalence
Number – REN) ovog uređaja je 0,1.
Obaveštenje: REN broj koji se dodeljuje svakom terminalnom uređaju pruža obaveštenje o maksimalnom
broju terminala kojima je dozvoljeno da se povežu na telefonski interfejs. Terminalni interfejs može da se
sastoji od bilo koje kombinacije uređaja i podleže jedino zahtevu da ukupna suma REN broja svih uređaja ne
prelazi cifru 5,00. Standardni kod povezivanja (tip telefonske utičnice) za opremu direktno povezanu na
telefonsku mrežu je CA11A.
