Choose the setting that best fits your security needs.

HTTP Idle Timeout
The HTTP Idle Timeout option configures the amount of time an HTTP connection to the device remains open. This can prevent the
need to physically go to the device when you have problem jobs that lack proper end of job signals or other hung connections. After
the HTTP Idle Timeout has expired, the idle connection will be closed to allow for a new connection to your device. All devices
covered in this document support the HTTP Idle Timeout option. To set the HTTP Idle Timeout option:
Click HTTP Idle Timeout (Figure 22).
Figure 22: The HTTP Idle Timeout option.
In the input field, type a reasonable number of seconds (5 to 60) for the device to wait on an idle connection before moving on. If
you spool large documents on a regular basis you will want to set this on the higher end. The default setting is 15.
IPX RCFG Support
This setting prevents access to configuration settings through Novell NetWare linkages; however, you should enable it if your
network uses these linkages.
Click IPX -- RCFG Support Enabled (Figure 22) and leave Enable RCFG Support blank to disable it.
