Introduction
Use the Certicate Management page to manage certicates for identication of the printer on a network and to
encrypt data used by the printer.
The printer comes with a self-signed identity certicate and a self-signed Certicate Authority (CA) certicate.
The printer also comes with three Root CA Certicates from popular Certicate Authorities. These Root CA
Certicates can be used to authenticate popular email services including Gmail, Yahoo, and MS Oce 365.
Certicates are managed from the Security tab > Certicate Management page of the EWS. The Certicate
Management page contains the following tabs:
● Certicate tab – Use to import, view details, remove, export, and use for e-mailing signing with certicates
● Certicate Validation tab – Use to disable or enable validation of Kerberos server certicates with either the
OCSP or CDP validation
The printer supports the following import formats for certicates:
● .DER (binary)
● .CER (binary or Base64)
● .PEM (Base64, installs single certicate)
● .PFX (identity certicate)
● .P7B (CA certicates only)
