This appendix describes the BC Z windows and dialog boxes in the previous version of the RWC
GUI, which opens in a secondary window.
Pair Operation window
Use this window to view BC Z pairs.
You can perform the following procedures from the window:
• “Creating pairs” (page 127)
• “Splitting pairs, creating and splitting pairs” (page 129)
• “Suspending pair creation” (page 131)
• “Resynchronizing pairs” (page 133)
• “Deleting pairs” (page 135)
• “Monitoring pair activity, status (secondary window)” (page 137)
Select one of the following areas of the Pair Operations window for information:
NOTE: The Pair Operation window opens and shows information for BC Z and Compatible
FlashCopy/Compatible FlashCopy SE pairs. This topic explains the items related to the BC Z pairs.
