stopped to the S-VOL. The system marks the
entire P-VOL track map as differential data,
meaning that the entire P-VOL is copied to
the S-VOL when the suspended pair is
resynchronized.
* Starting time of the copy depends on the numbers of pairs and the system environment.
CAUTION: When you execute DEVSERVE to a read/write disabled volume, INTERVENTION
REQUIRED is returned. However, if you have created pairs with the volumes online, and then
execute DEVSERVE to a read/write disabled volume, a normal value is returned.
RAID Manager pair status names
Some RAID Manager pair status names are different than the RWC status names. The following

Status, pair operations permitted
A pair’s status shows whether a desired operation can be performed. Each operation requires a
specific status, or is permitted for multiple possible statuses.
