If you share a volume with a software application listed in the previous table, the pair status
determines whether tasks are performed.
Data Retention
You can create FS pairs using volumes that have access attributes assigned by Data Ret.. Depending
on access attributes, however, you cannot perform some pair tasks and pool tasks with FS.
Also, you can assign access attributes to FS P-VOL and S-VOLs. The tables below also explain FS
pair tasks and pool tasks after access attributes are assigned.
