Even after snapshot data is stored, you can operate BC/SS pairs. In this case, the consistency of
the stored snapshot data is not maintained.
FS S-VOLs use the data in the P-VOL. You cannot Quick Restore using BC/SS.
For more information on BC/SS tasks and pair statuses, see the HP XP P900 Business Copy User
Guide.
CAUTION: The MU numbers used by FS are 0 to 1,023. On the other hand, the MU numbers
used by BC/SS are 0 to 2. Therefore, if FS uses the MU number 0 to 2, FS cannot share the volume
with BC/SS. To share a volume with FS and BC/SS, delete the FS pair of the MU number 0 to 2.
Then, create BC/SS pairs and FS pairs.
Continuous Access Synchronous and Continuous Access Journal
You can share FS P-VOLs with Continuous Access Synchronous (Cnt Ac-S) and Cnt Ac-J pair volumes.
The following tables list the relationship between pair tasks and status.
