Clear paper jams in the document feeder – 31.13.yz
When a jam occurs, the control panel displays an error message and an animation that assists in clearing the
jam. Paper jams in the document feeder produce a 31.13.yz error code.
Follow these steps to clear the paper jam:
1. Lift the latch to release the document-feeder
cover.
2. Open the document-feeder cover.
3. Remove any jammed paper.
