Component Description
(1) Side panel release latch Releases the side panel.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of serious injury or damage to
the equipment, do not open the chassis cover of any computer
containing a 1300 W PSU. To determine if you have a 600 W or
1300 W PSU, refer to the label on the back of the computer.
(2) Security cable slot Attaches an optional security cable to the computer.
NOTE: The security cable is designed to act as a deterrent, but
it may not prevent the computer from being mishandled or
stolen.
(3) Vents (2) Enable airow to cool internal components.
NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool
internal components and prevent overheating. It is normal for
the internal fan to cycle on and o during routine operation.
(4) Optical out connector Connects digital speakers (purchased separately).
(5) USB 3.0 ports (6) Connect a optional USB devices, such as a keyboard, mouse,
external drive, printer, scanner or USB hub.
(6) RJ-45 (network) jack/status lights Connects a network cable.

White: The network is connected.
●
Amber: Activity is occurring on the network.
