To ensure optimal solution performance and quick time to resolution for support issues, Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends
that all
customers maintain their software (SW)/firmware (FW) at the latest recommended recipe level. HPE publishes a SW/FW
recipe twice a year with prescribed versions for all FW and SW elements. At a minimum, a system should be maintained at no mo
re
than N-2 versions.
For those customers with the appropriate hardware (HW)/SW capabilities, HPE publishes a thorough update guide with each recip
e
release that authorized customers can download from the HPE Support Center and use to perform their own updates.
