3. Add cleaning solution to tank.
Use a cleaning solution composed of 80% distilled water and 20% distilled vinegar through the
system to prevent the accumulation of particulate matter in the heating element.
4. Plug the unit in and begin warm up.
Run the unit in a well-ventilated area until the tank is almost empty.
Do not allow the pump to run dry.
5. Cleaning is now complete.
6. Refill with fog liquid.
7. Close the tank.
8. Run the machine briefly to clear any cleaning solution from the pump and heater.
9. Clean the external case when the fixture is cold with a dry cloth or tissue, and drag dirt and grime
to the outside case.
Notes
Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities. Let the device cool down.
All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
The housing, visible parts, the mounting supports and the installation location should not be
deformed, modified or tampered with; e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not
change the location of the connections
The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain
the device.
Wipe the device regularly with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
There are no user-serviceable parts apart from the fuse. Contact your dealer for repairs if necessary.
Fuse Replacement
Unplug the IEC power cable before inserting or replacing a fuse.
Replace a blown fuse with a fuse of the same type and rating (see Technical Specifications):
1. Remove the fuse holder from the IEC housing with a flat-head screwdriver.
2. Remove the old fuse and install a new one.
3. Put back the fuse holder in the IEC housing.
