3.2.1 CHARGING PROCESS
Via an inializaon roune, the voltage, temperature, short circuits and reverse polarity of
the inserted baery are checked.
Prior to starng the charging process, the temperature contacts (NTC contact, etc.) are
checked. If the temperature contacts are OK, the baery will be charged.
If the baery is too hot, it can stay in the charging staon, and when it has cooled down,
it will automacally charge.
If the red LED lights up, the charging process will start using the special HST frequency
modulaon impulse process
®
and charge the baery based on how depleted the baery is.
During the charging process, the voltage and temperature of the cells and the remaining
charging me are connuously monitored.
Taking all of the parameters into account, the charging current and remaining charging
me varies on a case-by-case basis. The installed fans switch on automacally, as needed
during each charging process.
Every charging process is recorded on a memory chip for subsequent evaluation.
