CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR NEW FLOOR
Your new floor is now ready to show with pride! Wait 48-72 hours after installation
before washing the floor. This will allow the planks to conform to the sub-floor. Always
use thick felt furniture and leg protectors. Do not slide heavy furniture over the floor.
Walk off mats should be placed at all entrances to protect your floor from sand, soil, and
grit as well as other contaminants. Avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight
especially during peak sunlight hours. Regular sweeping or vacuuming and occasional
washing with clean warm water will keep your new floor clean and beautiful. To
thoroughly clean your floor use a damp sponge dipped in a warm water and white
vinegar solution. Like many other types of floors, vinyl floors become slippery when wet
so always wipe up spills immediately and when cleaning the floor allow adequate time
for the floor to dry.
USE
Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, laundry rooms, basements, and rec rooms.
IMPORTANT
: This product is for
interior
use only install only where a stable
temperature is maintained between 65 degrees to 85 degrees Fahrenheit before
installation, during installation and for the life of the product. This product is not
recommended for seasonal dwellings, unheated porches or installations where there
are extreme temperature variations.
Avoid extended exposure to sunlight. Direct sunlight magnified by a window can
generate floor temperatures that far exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit. We recommend
using drapes or blinds to minimize direct sunlight during peak sunlight hours. In the
winter, please also bear in mind that a concrete floor can be up to ten degrees colder
than the actual room temperature.
