Opening an app from the lock screen
§ On the lock screen, drag an app icon to the ring to unlock the screen and
directly go to the app.
The shortcuts on the lock screen are the same apps as the ones on your Home
screen's launch bar. To change the lock screen shortcuts, replace the apps on the
launch bar.
§ When there's a notification or info shown on the lock screen such as a missed
call or new message, you can drag it to the ring to directly go to its app.
Getting contacts into HTC Desire C
There are several ways you can add contacts to HTC Desire C. You can sync HTC
Desire C with contacts from your Google

Manager
Sync the contacts from your old phone to your computer, and
then use HTC Sync Manager to sync HTC Desire C with your
computer's Microsoft

Gmail

Google contacts are imported to HTC Desire C after you sign in
to your Google Account. You can also create more Google
contacts right from HTC Desire C.
Facebook Log in to your Facebook account to import your Facebook
friends' contact information.
Phone contacts You can choose to create and store contacts directly in HTC
Desire C or transfer existing ones from your old phone.
SIM card Copy all your SIM contacts to HTC Desire C.

HTC Desire C syncs your work contacts from the Microsoft
Exchange ActiveSync Server in your workplace.
Transfer Use the Transfer app to transfer not only your contacts, but also
calendar events and text messages from your old phone to HTC
Desire C.

Depending on your old phone’s model, you may also transfer other types of data such
