6. Tap OK.
To restore text messages that were backed up via email, open the email
message with the backup file attachment from the Mail app. Tap the
attachment to download it first, and then tap it again to open the backup
file to import. Enter the password you've set for this backup or select This
backup file is not password protected.
Backing up your personal dictionary
You can back up new words you’ve added to the predictive text dictionary.
1. Go to Settings, and then tap Language & keyboard.
2. Tap HTC Sense Input.
3. Tap Personal dictionary > > Back up to storage card or Back up
to email.
4. When prompted, tap OK.
Importing your personal dictionary
§ Go to Settings > Language & keyboard > HTC Sense Input. Tap
Personal dictionary > > Restore from storage card.
§ To import your personal dictionary backed up via email, open the
email message with the backup file attachment from the Mail app.
Tap the attachment to download it first, and then tap it again to
open the backup file to import.
Backing up or restoring tasks
1. Go to the list that contains the tasks you want to back up.
