Subscribing to a news channel from a list
Press HOME, and then tap > Newsstand.
On the Subscriptions tab, tap Add feeds.
Tap one of the categories on the screen to open the available channels.
Tap Search more to search the Web for other channels.
4. Select the channel(s) you want to subscribe to.
5. Repeat steps 3 to 4 to subscribe to more channels.
6. Tap Done.
Subscribing to a news channel by entering a URL
Press HOME, and then tap > Newsstand.
While on the Subscription tab, press MENU, and then tap Add from URL.
Enter the complete URL for the RSS feed, and then tap Done.
Reading an article
Press HOME, and then tap > Newsstand.
On the Subscriptions tab, tap a channel whose articles you want to read.
Scroll through the list of articles, and then tap an article to read it.
While reading an article, you can tap:
and to go to the previous or next article in the channel.
to tag an article. See “Tagging an article” for details.
to share the article via a message (link to the article only) or email.
5. If you want to read the whole article, tap Read full article. This opens the article in the web
browser. See “Using your phone’s web browser” in the Internet chapter to learn how to
navigate the web page.
Downloading an article
Download full articles to your phone so you can read them on the go without connecting to
the Internet.
Press HOME, and then tap
> Newsstand.
On the Subscriptions tab, tap the channel where the article you want to download is
located.
In the article list, locate the article you want to download, and then tap
.
Articles that you download are also automatically starred.
Downloaded articles are marked with the
icon in the article list.


