5.6 Synchronizing Music and Video
If you want to carry your music or other digital media along with you while you 
travel, set up Windows Media® Player on your computer to synchronize music and 
video with your phone.
Other than selecting the 
Media information type to be synchronized, all media 
synchronization settings must be set in Windows Media® Player. Before media can 
be synchronized, you must do the following:
Install Windows Media® Player Version 11 on your computer. (Windows 
Media® Player 11 works only in Windows XP or later versions).
Connect your phone to the computer with a USB cable. If your phone is 
currently connected using Bluetooth, you must end that connection before 
media can be synchronized.
Set up a sync partnership between your phone and your computers Windows 
Media® Player.

5.7 Synchronizing with Microsoft My Phone
Microsoft® My Phone syncs information between your phone and a password-
protected web site. You can back up and restore your contacts, calendar 
appointments, photos, and other information. 
Note You can sync contacts, calendar, and tasks with My Phone only if your phone does not 
have a sync partnership with an Exchange Server.
You can also use a web browser on your computer to:
Add, edit, and delete contacts and calendar appointments. These changes are 
then synchronized with your phone.
View your photos and videos, and save them to your computer.
