Use HTH Spa
TM
Defoamer
Lower pH into the range of 7.2–7.6 (calcium-hypochlorite
based sanitizers) or lower pH into the range of 7.2–7.8
(trichloro-s-triazinetrione based sanitizers) with HTH pH
Minus
Lower TA by using HTH pH Minus to the range of 60-120 ppm
An excessively high hardness level may require that
some water to be drained from the pool
Clean pool surface with a scrubbing pad designed
for your pool surface
Allow sunlight to decrease free available chlorine
Stop adding chlorine until the free available chlorine
level is at 1.0–4.0 ppm
1. Adjust pH into the range of 7.2–7.4 with HTH pH Minus
or HTH pH Plus at least one hour before shocking
2. Shock treat your pool water with an HTH shock product
1. Adjust pH into the range 7.2–7.4 with HTH pH Minus or
HTH pH Plus at least one hour before shocking
