In videoconferencing mode, the DP300 display is an intermediary for users to interact with the videoconferencing system. By default, the DP300 display is a touchscreen. Using the Name, Number, or IP Address of a Remote Site Step 1 Tap to display the Call screen. Step 2 In the text box, enter the name, IP address, or number of the site you want to call. Step 3 Tap . ----End Using the Address Book List Step 1 Tap to display the Call screen.

Background l MCU: As an indispensable component in a multipoint conference, the MCU is responsible for multiple functions, such as site access, video exchange, audio mixing, data processing, and signaling interaction.

In a multipoint conference held by the MCU, continuous presence is also displayed on the conference control screen in panes. Click a video pane and select a conference control operation. The conference control function items are displayed at the bottom of the conference control screen.

The site with the loudest voice is viewed by the other sites in the conference. You can select the sensitivity based on experience after enabling the voice activation function. l The videoconferencing system sets a threshold based on the sensitivity selected.

When the chair site locks the presentation rights of a site, only that site can share presentations. l Locking conference presentation: Tap Lock Conference. After the chair site locks the conference presentation for a conference, a site can share its presentation when no other site in the conference is doing so.

Lock Conference After the Lock Conference operation is performed, the DP300 whose built-in MCU is being used can call other endpoints to join the conference, but other endpoints cannot attend the conference by calling that DP300. To enable other endpoints to attend the conference by calling that DP300, perform the Unlock Conference operation.

After being deleted, the site is not associated to the conference anymore and is not included in the site list. To enable the site to join the conference again, the chair site needs to add the site to the conference by performing the Add Site operation, and then the system will place a call to the site.

If this is the first time the microphone is powered on or if the Wi-Fi settings have been changed, tap and hold the button in the center of the microphone for 3 seconds or more.

Each camera preset stores the camera PTZ settings. You can easily control the camera by switching between its presets. If a camera supports PTZ functions, you can create and save a maximum of 6 remote camera presets. A camera preset remains valid until it is deleted or changed. NOTE l DP300 do not support preset-related operations on the local site.

The DP300's display functions as the PC's monitor, and its loudspeaker functions as the PC's external sound box.
