8 2A. Router Basics
Key Functions
1. Display screen provide information about your
router’s status.
Tip: If the display screen is off while the router is on, you can
press any button to turn on it.
2. Micro USB port allows you to connect the router
charger or a compatible PC through the USB
cable for charging the battery.
CAUTION! Inserting an incorrect accessory into the
port may damage the router.
3. WLAN button
When the router is on:
● Double press the WLAN button to display the
SSID and key of the wireless network on the
display screen.
● Press and hold the WLAN button for about two
seconds to disable or enable the WLAN
feature.
● Press and hold the WLAN button for about five
seconds or more to start a WPS negotiation.
4. Power button
● When the router is off, press and hold the
power button for about 3 s to turn on it.
● When the router is on, press and hold the
power button for about 3 s to turn off it.
5. Strap hole allows you to thread a strap to the router
through the strap holes for more portable.
6. Battery slot allows you to install the battery.
CAUTION! Inserting an incorrect accessory into the
slot may damage the router.
7. Reset button
● press and hold the Reset button for less than
5 s to restore the default settings of WLAN.
● press and hold the Reset button for 5 s or
more than 5 s to retore the default settings or
the device.
8. MicroSD
TM
card slot allows you to install a microSD
TM
card.
CAUTION! Inserting an incorrect accessory into the
slot may damage the router.
