Parameter
Description
Device Type
Set this parameter to EMI.
Connection mode
Set this parameter to Modbus-RTU.
Port number
Set this parameter to the serial number of the COM port
connected to the EMI.
Address
Set this parameter to the communication address of the EMI.
Step 2 Set running parameters and click Submit.

If the model of the connected EMI is displayed in the EMI model drop-down list box,
set parameters as follows.

Set this parameter to the model of the connected EMI.
Synchronize Environment
Data
You are advised to retain the default value Disable.
NOTE
When this parameter is set to Enable, the SmartLogger transmits the
wind speed and direction data to the solar inverter in a PV plant with
the tracking system.
