The EMI fails
in
communicatio
n.
1. The RS485 communications cable
between the EMI and the
SmartLogger is connected incorrectly,
loose, or disconnected.
2. The EMI is not powered on.
3. The EMI and SmartLogger use
different RS485 communications
parameter settings.
4. The EMI parameters are incorrectly
set.
1. Check the cable connection. If the
cable is loose or disconnected,
reconnect it firmly.
2. Power on the EMI.
3. Check that the RS485
communications parameters of the
EMI are correctly.
4. Log in to the WebUI and ensure that
the EMI parameters are set correctly.
6
The
SmartLogger
cannot
communicate
with the
management
system.
1. The SmartLogger is not connected to
the PC, or the cable is loose or
disconnected.
2. The parameters of the wired or
wireless network are incorrectly set.
3. The management system parameters
are incorrectly set.
1. Check that the Ethernet port of the
SmartLogger is correctly connected
to the PC or a router.
2. Check that the parameters of the
wired or wireless network are set
correctly.
3. Check that the management system
parameters are correctly set.
7
The
communicatio
n for RS485
networking
failed.
1. The RS485 communications cable is
incorrectly connected, loose, or
disconnected.
2. The SmartLogger is not powered on.
3. The RS485 communications
parameters are incorrectly set.
1. Terminal block connection: Check
that the RS485 communications
cable is connected to the correct port
of the terminal block.
2. RJ45 network port connection:
Check that the RJ45 connector is
properly crimped and that each wire
is connected to the correct pin.
3. Check that the RS485 ports of other
devices are connected to the correct
ports of the SmartLogger.
4. Check the RS485 cable connection.
If the cable is loose, disconnected, or
reversely connected, reconnect it
firmly.
5. Power on the SmartLogger and its
connected device.
6. Check the RS485 communications
parameter settings.
7. Contact the dealer or Huawei
technical support.
8
The 4G
communicatio
n is abnormal.
1. The SIM card is not inserted or it is in
arrears or damaged.
2. The 4G antenna is not tightened or is
damaged.
3. The management system parameters
and wireless network parameters are
incorrectly set.
4. The SIM card registration failed.
1. Insert or replace the SIM card.
2. Tighten or replace the 4G antenna.
3. Check that the management system
parameters and wireless network
parameters are set correctly.
4. Contact the SIM card carrier or
Huawei technical support.
