Dual card dual standby single pass Your phone supports only dual card dual standby single pass, which means you cannot use both SIM cards for calls or data services simultaneously. • When you are on a call using SIM card 1, SIM card 2 cannot be used to make or answer calls. If someone calls SIM card 2, the caller will hear a voice message similar to "The subscriber you dialed is out of the service area" or "The subscriber you dialed cannot be connected for the moment, please try again later.
Your phone at a glance Thank you for choosing the HUAWEI Ascend G630 smartphone. Before you start, let's take a look at your new phone.
Installation Follow the instructions in the following figures to complete the installation. Then press and hold the power button to power on your phone. To forcibly restart your phone, press and hold the power button until your phone vibrates. 1 Open the battery cover. 2 Insert the micro-SIM cards. 3 Open the microSD card cover. H G G Push the microSD card cover toward the top of the phone to release it. H Flip the microSD card cover open.
4 Place the microSD card into the card slot. 5 Fasten the microSD card cover. G H G Close the microSD card cover. H Push the microSD card cover back into its original position. 6 Install the battery cover. 7 Charge the phone.
Dual-card management Go to and touch Dual card to enable or disable your SIM cards. You can enable the two SIM cards simultaneously. Enable 2 d ar C C ar d 1 Touch Default data network to set the default SIM card for your data service.
Locking and unlocking the screen Your phone automatically locks its screen after being idle for a specified period of time. Alternatively, you can press the power button to manually and touch Display > lock the screen. You can go to Sleep to set the screen timeout period. Follow the onscreen instructions and drag screen or open an application.
Managing contacts Touch to open People. From the contact list, touch > Manage contacts to import contacts from the SIM card, microSD card, or another Bluetooth device. Touch the Groups tab page to group your contacts for easier management.
Placing a call Touch and enter a phone number on the dialer. If you have existing contacts on your phone, your phone automatically displays matching results as you type. Touch a number to place a call. You can also touch a number from Contacts, Messaging, Email, or Browser to place a call.
Messaging Touch to open Message. Attaching a file to a text message converts the message into a multimedia message. You can save photos, audio clips, or videos from received multimedia messages. When you are typing, open the notification panel and touch to switch the input method.
Camera Touch to open Camera. Have the phone automatically focus itself or touch the screen to focus on a specific object. Then touch to take a photo. To shoot a video, frame the scene you want to record and touch to start shooting.
Listening to music Touch to open Play Music. Play your songs by name, artist, or album, and mark your favorite songs.
