2.9.1 How Do I Use USB Tethering If I Connect My Phone to a

Computer Running Windows XP?

Before using tethering, ensure that the USB driver is installed on your computer for your

phone and your phone can access the Internet.

Connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable. On your phone, touch Settings >

More... > Tethering & portable hotspot > USB terthering. You can access the Internet on

the computer using your phone's mobile data connection.

2.9.2 How Do I Use USB Tethering If I Connect My Phone to a

Computer Running Windows Vista or Windows 7?

Connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable. The computer automatically installs the

driver for your phone.

On your phone, touch Settings > WIRELESS & NETWORKS > More... > Tethering &

portable hotspot > USB terthering.

On your computer, access the Network and Sharing Center window, set Network adapters,

and enable the local connection to use USB tethering.

You can access the Internet on the computer using your phone's mobile data connection.
