Choose a connection method as required:



Media device (MTP): MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol. In this mode, you can

synchronize media files between your phone and the computer that support MTP.



HiSuite: In this mode, you can use HiSuite to manage pictures, songs, messages,

contacts, and applications on your phone.



Charge only: The computer charges the phone only. No data can be transmitted.

If you connect your phone to a Mac, you can manage files on your phone using MTP, but the USB

tethering function is unavailable.

2.18 How do I free up the internal storage?

Deleted unwanted files as follows: Go to File Manager. Touch and hold the file or folder you

want to delete and choose Delete from the displayed option menu.

2.19 How can I adjust the screen brightness?

On the home screen, touch Settings > Display > Brightness. Select Automatic brightness or

manually drag the brightness slider.
