If the configuration of your PC cannot meet the requirements, the performance of the USB Modem may be degraded. Under Network Tasks in the left pane, click Create a new connection.

Then click Setting. Enter the user name and password provided by the ISP, and then save the user account. Click Connection. Click Connect Network. Then the USB Modem tries to connect to the network automatically.
Online Help 3 Common Operations 3.3 Startup Settings of the USB Modem After you install the management program and the device driver, you can set the startup parameters of the management program upon PC startup. When the management program is running, choose Tools > Options to display the setting window. You can select whether to start the management program upon startup of the Windows OS or whether to minimize the management program window when the management program is started. 3.
Online Help 4 Viewing Information About the USB Modem 4 Viewing Information About the USB Modem 4.1 Viewing the Device Information The device information includes the device type, the S/N, MAC address, and software version number. To view the device information, start the management program and then click Device. 4.2 Viewing the Network Information The network information includes the connection duration, working status, uplink and downlink rates, the IP details, and information about the base station.
Online Help 5 Troubleshooting 5 Troubleshooting When the USB Modem is connected to the PC for the first time, the system does not prompt you to install the management program. z After the system recognizes the new hardware, you need to wait a few minutes for the system to prepare for the installation of the program. z Ensure that the USB Modem is connected to the PC correctly and is displayed in the notification area. Otherwise, disconnect the USB Modem and then connect it to the PC again.
Online Help 5 Troubleshooting When you power on the PC after the USB Modem is connected, the Windows OS hangs. z z Check the settings of devices such as the USB port and the network adapter in the Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) of the PC. It is recommended that you enable devices such as the USB port and the network adapter. Remove the USB Modem safely and restart the PC. Then connect the USB Modem to the PC again. The indicator is not on.
