1 Go to Settings > Accessibility features > One-Handed mode, and enable One-Handed
mode.
2 You can access One-Handed mode using any of the following methods:
• If you are using Gestures and Slide across bottom to switch apps is enabled, swipe
across the bottom of the screen and hold.
• If you are using Gestures and Slide across bottom to switch apps is disabled, swipe
across the bottom of the screen in an arc and hold.
• If you are using Three-key navigation, swipe across the bottom of the screen.
• If you are using Gestures and there is no Slide across bottom to switch apps switch,
swipe across the bottom of the screen.
3 Touch anywhere outside the mini screen view to exit one-handed mode.
One-handed mode will not work if
magnication gestures are enabled on your phone.
If you hold your device with your left hand, it is recommended that you swipe from right
to left across the bottom of the screen and hold. The mini screen view will be displayed
on the left side of the screen.
If you hold your device with your right hand, it is recommended that you swipe from left
to right across the bottom of the screen and hold. The mini screen view will be displayed
on the right side of the screen.
What to Do If Air Scroll Does Not Work
• Using Air scroll to scroll left/right only takes eect when you are using Gallery or certain e-
book apps.
• You can only use Air scroll to scroll up/down for adjusting the volume when using the
Video app.
• Make sure that your hand is placed about half an arm's length away from the screen.
• Make sure that your hand is in front of the screen.
